Refund and Cancellation
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Zinzil's in-app purchases, subscriptions, and one-time passes. By making a purchase on Zinzil you agree to the terms below.
1. Where purchases are processed
All paid features on Zinzil are sold as in-app purchases through Apple's App Store (on iOS) and Google's Play Store (on Android). Apple and Google process the payment, hold the funds, and handle all billing.
Zinzil does not directly charge your card. We do not store your payment information.
2. Subscription cancellation
Auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g. Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly) continue until you cancel them. You can cancel anytime from your store account — Zinzil cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf:
- Android (Play Store): Open the Google Play app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Zinzil → Cancel subscription.
- iOS (App Store): Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Zinzil → Cancel Subscription.
After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have full access until that date. No refund is issued for the remaining period — you keep what you already paid for.
3. One-time passes (e.g. Daily Pass)
One-time purchases such as the 24-hour Daily Pass are non-refundable once the purchase is completed. The entitlement begins immediately on successful payment and expires at the end of its stated duration.
4. Refund requests
Because Apple and Google process all payments, refund requests must be submitted directly to the platform that charged you. Zinzil cannot process refunds for in-app purchases.
- Android (Play Store): Visit Google Play Help — Refunds, sign in, find the order, and follow the refund request flow. Refunds are typically considered within 48 hours of purchase.
- iOS (App Store): Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and submit a refund request to Apple. Apple decides on a case-by-case basis.
5. When Apple or Google grants a refund
When Apple or Google notifies us that a purchase has been refunded or revoked, we remove the corresponding entitlement from your Zinzil account. This may happen within a few minutes to a few hours after the platform processes the refund.
6. Failed payments and renewal failures
If your subscription renewal fails (e.g. expired card), Apple and Google grant a short grace period during which they retry the payment. If renewal cannot be completed, the subscription expires and Zinzil reverts to the free tier. No action is required from your side; you can resubscribe at any time.
7. Account deletion does not auto-refund
Deleting your Zinzil account does not automatically cancel an active subscription or trigger a refund. Cancel the subscription via your store account first (see section 2 above), then proceed with account deletion.
8. Questions or disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, an entitlement was not granted after a successful purchase, or you need help navigating Apple or Google's refund process, email support@zinzil.com. We respond within 2 business days. Please include your account email, the approximate purchase date, and (if available) the transaction ID from your store account.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this refund and cancellation policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
